After a great breakfast at our new place in Jeju city Jake and I got a taxi to take us to the Jeju bus terminal.
Today we're heading for Aqua Planet! The biggest aquarium in Asia. The bus ride out there was an hour long, and super hot, but worth it!
This was the view from where the bus dropped us off.
The biggest aquarium in Asia felt like it was sort of in the middle of nowhere, but it was right on the sea and if we had driven ourselves it wouldn't have taken that long to get there.
We were looking forward to seeing the famed Whale Sharks! Turns out one of them died... and the Korean version of the SPCA made the aquarium release the other one. So, no whale sharks.
Lots of cool Jelly fish though!
And the tank that used to have the whale sharks in it is now full of lots of other sharks! The tank's big enough for aquarium staff to go diving in and put on a show.
Super huge wolf eel!
These specimens where treated so that their skeletons and skin where visible at the same time.
Transparent seahorse look cool!
My camera ran out of batteries so we ended up taking more video with Jake's camcorder than actual pictures.
Enjoy more specimens!
Not really in the mood for seafood... Jake and I opted for something more familiar for supper!
We got plain crust, instead of the broccoli soup filled crust that was on the menu.
Jeju island day 2 is way more exciting I promise!
