Jeju to Seoul

We were sad to leave the beautiful Jeju island today.
Our hosts were amazing, the guest house was super cozy, and the island was a blast!

Our hosts put this video together for us :)

Here we are with our two awesome Hosts!
Seo Jong Hwan
&
Park Hyo Yeoul

Thanks for the amazing Jeju experience guys!

Now! It's time to get on the jet plane back to the big city.

Seoul!

We got a room in this swanky hotel in Hongdae.
However, google maps led us to the wrong place at first... but a 40 minute taxi ride later (just $20!) and we're livin' large!

We walked the busy streets of Hongdae for a while after settling in.
This area is super busy and full of interesting sights.
There's even a "free park" with live music happening pretty regularly.

We found our way to the "eating street" which was pretty much a giant Korean BBQ from what I could tell. It smelled really goooood~

So, we had our first KBBQ experience on this trip!

Way better than the all you can eat variety we're known to do in Toronto.

After Dinner we took in some more sights and found some sweet organic ice cream!

With "honey chip" which was everything I'd ever hoped eating a honey comb would be :D
It wasn't waxy or anything. Good ice cream too!

Now. The blog is about a week behind!
Turns out lugging around super SUPER heavy back packs and running all over Korea and Japan doesn't leave you with much time or energy at the end of the day.

Spoiler alert!!

We're at an awesome place in Osaka now, but I've still got a few more Days of Korea to catch you up on before I can get to the current date and time :p

So hang in there! The blog will be getting fuller soon!

~
