Tuesday Evening

Haircut time!

With some help from our friend back home, Ruby, and one of the hosts from the Guest house, Michi, I was able to get an appointment at Juno Hair! This place comes recommended from the eatyourkimchi travel blog.

IT WAS AWESOME.

I was brought tea and cookies while waiting for my hair dresser.
The stylist came over and went through a "style book" (which he summoned with his two helpers) and figured out what I was looking for.
Then my hair was washed and massaged before being cut.
Then it was washed and massaged again before being styled!
so much fun!
The stylist suggested I get a "volume perm" of soft curls for effect. Maybe on our return to Seoul in a week?

BEFORE

TEA AND COOKIES!

AFTER!
(it was super bright.. that's why I look unhappy :p )

i still have my tail :D

This whole time, Jake was out skate boarding! He didn't get any photos of that yet, but they're comin!

We met back up in Myeongdong, which is a super hapnnein' shoping district.

Jake got some cool new shoes and we set out exploring.

It wasn't long before we stumbled on this!

CAT CAFE! Cats and coffee. I love it!
They even had snacks you could buy to give the cats.

we were told not to touch the cats with the yellow scarves. But that didn't keep them from touching us :D

Jake's Favorite, the loneliest cat in Korea.

My favorite, the weirdo!

After all the cat petting, it was time for Dinner!

There were endless choices of restaurants. There were hostesses offering us korean BBQ left right and center, but we opted for the variety of the night market carts set up in the streets! SO much food everywhere. I can't believe this happens every night. It's like a non-stop food festival.

Mc.Bulgogi! (it's not so good...)

SO FULL! Better head home... exit 6 of Meongdong station.

Do it all again Tomorrow!
